Sant Chavara National Academy follows the examination and assessment framework prescribed by CBSE, with structures suited to each class group for balanced and continuous evaluation.

  1. Classes Nursery to V – The academic year is divided into three terms, each consisting of written assessments, activities, and projects. Continuous assessment ensures steady academic and skill development.
  2. Classes VI to VIII – The year is divided into two terms, with each term including periodic tests, subject enrichment activities, and term-end examinations.
  3. Classes IX and XI – Students appear for three periodic tests—Pre-Mid Term, Mid Term, and Post-Mid Term—followed by the Annual Examination as per CBSE curriculum and norms.
  4. Classes X and XII – Students appear for three periodic tests in the academic year, followed by the CBSE Board Examinations and Practical Examinations as per CBSE curriculum and norms.

All activities, projects, and examinations are recorded with proper rubrics, strictly in accordance with CBSE norms. The assessment pattern ensures that students’ progress is monitored regularly, promoting academic excellence, skill enhancement, and overall personality development.
